Client challenge : Build entire supply chain structure, processes and organization in EU and US in anticipation of first product launch
Drive value chain set-up and establish supply chain capabilities in EU and US to deliver new product (biotech or pharma) from scratch including cross-functional leadership.
Based on the customer and the product requirements we built the entire supply chain in collaboration with the other central functions such as Regulatory, Quality, Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing and Procurement. SCO created the business processes and developed the infrastructure to launch bio-pharma products immediately after MAH approval.
Launch readiness of both the upstream (Manufacturing) and the downstream (Distribution) supply chain was always part of the scope which included inventory build-up, licensing readiness, GDP network compliance and channel to market set-up.
Identification and selection of logistics and supply chain partners including RFI and RFP/RFQ was also key deliverables to the overall project.
